Upgrade-Related DX NetOps Support Offerings
The following upgrade-related DX NetOps Support offerings are included in your support maintenance plan:
- Pre-Upgrade Review - Open a Pre-Upgrade Review case with the DX NetOps Support team at https://support.broadcom.com prior to any upgrade, to help ensure that your DX NetOps upgrade is a smooth and successful experience and to prevent production down issues during the upgrade. After you open a case, subject matter experts for each DX NetOps component will review your written upgrade plans in detail. If you do not have a written upgrade plan, the DX NetOps Support and Development team can provide you with a runbook and share best practices, and review your plan after it is complete.
For more information about how to set up a Pre-Upgrade Review with a SME, review the "How to Request a Hot Site and Pre-Upgrade Review for my product deployment/product upgrade?" Knowledge Base article.
- Support Hot Site - Provides the DX NetOps Support team advance notice of your upgrade and makes your upgrade plan easily available should Support need to reference it. Setting up a hot site for your upgrade also alerts the DX NetOps Support and Development team to be on the lookout for any potential severity-upgrade-related issues during your upgrade window.
Contact your account representative, or have the DX NetOps Support team set up a hot site for your next upgrade by opening a Support case at https://support.broadcom.com.
- DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program - The DX NetOps Support and Development teams are staffed during specific hours on pre-scheduled DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade weekend days. Registered DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program participants can open upgrade-related Support cases during those hours. The pre-upgrade reviews and hot site setup are mandatory features of the Weekend Upgrade Program.
For more information, see the DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program site.
