Capabilities Available for Early Access for Select DX NetOps Customers
In Early Access, our focus is to verify functionality for a feature and to gather feedback from a limited set of customers prior to the general availability of the capability.
If you are interested in a capability, contact your account representative and request access by creating a case with Broadcom Support at https://support.broadcom.com.
The following capabilities are available for Early Access:
- DX NetOps Global Topology is a next-generation, all-in-one network topology solution to empower operations teams. It visualizes and manages large-scale, distributed enterprise networks, catering to both traditional and software-defined environments. This solution offers valuable insights and contextual monitoring information, including performance and fault management, all seamlessly integrated into standard operational workflows.
- We are looking for customers to participate in a pilot program to leverage existing NetOps SNMP data collectors for automated cloud connectivity and performance monitoring, leveraging embedded AppNeta active-monitoring technology with a seamless operational view in NetOps Portal. If you are interested in participating in this program, contact your account representative.
- Adopt the DX NetOps Zero Touch Administration (ZTA) solution to automate the upgrade process, reducing cost while improving efficiency.

Upgrading DX NetOps
The Upgrade DX NetOps section in the documentation includes the following high-level categories, each containing capability-specific upgrade information:
- Prepare for the Upgrade - Describes the required pre-upgrade tasks.
- Upgrade DX NetOps - Sequentially explains the upgrade process to prevent global synchronization issues. Before upgrading each DX NetOps component, review the installation and system requirements for each DX NetOps component.
- Verify the Upgrade - Describes the required post-upgrade verification tasks to ensure that the upgraded functionality and customizations work as expected.
Upgrade-Related Support Offerings
The following upgrade-related Support offerings are included in your support maintenance plan:
- Pre-Event Review - Once you are registered for the DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program, subject matter experts (SMEs) from each DX NetOps component will review your written upgrade plans in detail to help ensure a smooth and successful experience. If you do not have a written upgrade plan, the DX NetOps Support and Development team can provide you with a runbook and share best practices, and then review your plan once it is complete.
For more information about how to set up a Pre-Event Review with a SME, review the "How to Request a Hot Site and Pre-Upgrade Review for my product deployment/product upgrade?" Knowledge Base article.
- DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program - The next DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program is October 5th & 6th, 2024. During these days, DX NetOps Support and Development teams are staffed during specific hours. Once you are registered for the program, the team provides a thorough Pre-Event Review, and you can open any upgrade-related Support cases during the times on those weekends.
For more information, see the DX NetOps Designated Weekend Upgrade Program site.
- Support Hot Site - Provides the DX NetOps Support team advance notice of your event. This alerts the DX NetOps Support and Development team to be on the lookout for any potential severity-upgrade-related issues during this window. The team also houses your written upgrade plan in the hot site so that they have visibility and access into your upgrade, should you open a severity-upgrade-related Support case.
Contact your account representative, or have the DX NetOps Support team set up a Support Hot Site for your next upgrade event by opening a Support case at https://support.broadcom.com.
