Broadcom has merged automic.com websites, specifically Automic download, documentation, and Automation Marketplace sites, onto Broadcom’s primary support platforms to provide a more unified experience for accessing product resources.
- Documentation: All online product documentation transitioned to Broadcom Tech Docs. Former docs.automic.com URLs redirect to a landing page for the corresponding product and version, not to individual pages in the new location. Please update URLs in your documentation or bookmarks. Instructions for updating in-product context-sensitive help links are included in Configuring Documentation URL for TechDocs Migration (KB435454).
- Downloads & Marketplace: All software downloads, integrations and extension packages have been moved to the Broadcom Support Portal. Details on how to locate and download product software and components are described below and included in the FAQ. If you experience any issues accessing the new support portal, please make sure that your user account is correctly entitled for downloads. See KB article about Using your Broadcom Site ID(s) for full support portal access
- Docker Registry: The gcr.io registry migrated to packages.broadcom.com. You will need to obtain a new token and modify any custom HELM charts and configuration to point to the new packages.broadcom.com registry. (Registry Tokens can be generated here)
For more details on the transition, please review this Product Support Notification and Automic_Migration_Customer_FAQ_Aug_31.pdf. They include full transition details, including links to new locations of resources and specific migration steps.
If you did not receive an email alerting you to the Product Support Notification, please sign up for Product Alerts so you will receive updates on this transition and future critical communications.

Former docs.automic.com URLs redirect to a landing page for the corresponding product and version, not to individual pages in the new location. Offline documentation is no longer available as downloads from support.broadcom.com.
Documentation > In-Product
Documentation can no longer be hosted on premises, as help files can no longer be downloaded — all users must have access to techdocs.broadcom.com.
Note on Scope (Classic Help vs. ICE): These configuration settings apply to Classic Online Help (external help opened in a browser window) and when IPCE (In-Product Content Experience / Inline Help) is turned off. When IPCE is enabled (default in modern versions), AWI uses the embedded inline help sidebar connecting directly to Broadcom's IPCE service. Details on how to update the configuration are described in Configuring Documentation URL for TechDocs Migration (KB435454).
