Today, we are pleased to announce that Directory r14.1 SP5 is now available. Please use the Release 14.1.05 to download your copy from the Broadcom online support site:

This release contains the following new features in Directory:

        New Feature: Response tuning, performance, and reliability improvements

        Feature Description: The DXServer has been updated to provide technical improvements and stability enhancements to response tuning, performance, and reliability improvements, including two new commands:

• • • set process-update-response-queue Command
    • set dxgrid-db-tuning Command

        While these new commands are added primarily to improve Symantec SiteMinder session store performance, they can be used for other stores on DSAs that frequently receive a large number of update requests.

        Business Value: Reduced TCO, improved performance and reliability.

        New Feature: CPU Starvation Logging Improvements

        Feature Description: The CPU Starvation logging logic is now separated from dsaScheduler and it is handled separately so that the reporting can be done without any dependencies.

        Business Value: Reduced cycle time in troubleshooting.

Other content of the release includes:

• Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9
• Support for Rocky Linux 9
• Upgrades of libraries

The support for Symantec Directory r14.1 SP5 will be available until the end of December 2026. Once that End of Support is reached, Extended Support, a Broadcom support offering that extends support for software product versions or releases that have reached End of Service, will be available.
