The MPKI service that Broadcom uses to issue and validate Data Loss Prevention Cloud bundles is deprecated. Broadcom begins using a new MPKI service starting in August 2025. 

Apply the DLP hot fix before the deprecated MPKI service version stops working (August 2025). Applying the hot fix maintains uninterrupted services between the DLP cloud and the Enforce Server, including applying cloud bundles and when automatically renewing the existing certificate. See KB #401550 for additional details. 

Note: The new service is available for DLP versions 16.0, 16.0.1, and 16.0.2 with the latest hot fix. There is no need to apply a hot fix for version 16.1; this version includes support for the new MPKI.

Download the file from the Product Downloads page at the Symantec Enterprise Security Support site.

Complete the following steps at the Product Downloads page to obtain the hot fix file:

1. Click My Downloads, enter “Data Loss Prevention” in the search area, and click Data Loss Prevention.
2. Locate and download the hot fix file for your DLP version and platform:
