UPDATE FEBRUARY 19, 2021: The revised DLP 15.7 Maintenance Pack 2 is now available from the Product Downloads portal. See the revised MP2 Release Notes for details.

Symantec has removed the Data Loss Prevention 15.7 Maintenance Pack 2 (MP2) software from the Product Downloads portal. In addition, Symantec has removed the Windows hotfix for DLP 15.7 MP2 from the Product Downloads portal. 

Symantec has taken these actions to combine the improvements of MP2 and the hotfix to provide a single revised maintenance pack for customers to install. The revised maintenance pack will also enable you to update the Enforce Server first, followed by the detection servers, in a timeframe you can set for your organization; this provides you with greater flexibility in the upgrade process. 

Symantec anticipates that the new maintenance pack will be available in mid to late February, 2021. 

Actions for DLP 15.7 customers who have already upgraded to 15.7 MP2 and applied the required hotfix:

No action is needed. You can continue to use Data Loss Prevention 15.7 MP2 as you have been doing. 

Actions for DLP 15.7 customers who are in the process of upgrading to Data Loss Prevention 15.7 MP2:

As stated in the DLP 15.7 MP2 Release Notes, you must upgrade detection servers and the Enforce Server at the same time. If you cannot upgrade all of your detection servers and the Enforce Server concurrently, contact Symantec Support or wait for the new MP2 package. 

Actions for DLP 15.7 customers who have not yet upgraded to Data Loss Prevention 15.7 MP2:
