As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that Unicenter Software Delivery r11.2 is now available.

Unicenter Software Delivery continues to innovate by providing new features that make the product more robust and easier to use. Release 11.2 continues to deliver software aligned with your business objectives, which is imperative when providing a comprehensive Desktop Management strategy.

New features for Unicenter Software Delivery r11.2 include:

Job Priorities. Control the priority of jobs, software distributions and policies during evaluation and build phases.

WinPE Support. Supports the creation and registering of WinPE 1.x Boot images. OSIM has been extended to use WinPE 1.x as an alternative to DOS.

Event Management. This release re-establishes integration with CA Common Services allowing you to monitor system events such as transfer start and stop, failed transfers, and authentication failures with automated responses.

World View with DTS. This release re-establishes integration with CA Common Services to allow software to be distributed across customized transfer routes, with broadcast and multicast options and support for low bandwidth distributed infrastructures.

Common Calendar. This release re-establishes integration with CA Common Services to provide complete calendaring scenarios for file transfer and distribution exclusion times, regular scheduled distribution to nodes, recurring distributions, etc.

Microsoft's Automated Deployment Service. Microsoft's Automated Deployment Service (MS ADS) can coexist with the DSM boot server allowing machines that are managed by MS ADS to be excluded as boot server targets.

Area Support Security. Current object-level security was extended to support area, either globally or per security profile.

Enhanced Discovery. Detects new systems connecting to the network, and through policy definitions, allows these new systems to be brought automatically under the control of Unicenter Software Delivery.

Software Policies. This powerful feature, which enables you to automatically manage the software state of desktops and servers, has been enhanced to give you greater control when setting up and defining these policies.

Enhanced Security. You now have the choice to protect inter-machine communications with stronger AES encryption as an alternative to the 3TDES encryption used in the previous release.
