CA Network and Systems Management 11.2 SP2CUM1 has been certified with JRE Upgrade to 1.7.0_25.

NSM currently ships jre 1.5.0_11 and 1.5.0_12 (for UMP) with the NSM r11.2 (GA, SP1, SP2, SP2 CUM1) installation. There are many vulnerabilities with this version of jre. Most of the vulnerabilities have been fixed in the latest jre version 1.7.0_25. Hence NSM needs to upgrade to the newer version of jre, jre 1.7.0_25.

CA UMP currently uses jakarta-tomcat 4.1.29. However JRE 1.7.0_25 is not compatible with jakarta-tomcat 4.1.29 and problems are seen in CA UMP after JRE is upgraded to 1.7.0_25. Hence as a part of this fix, jakarta-tomcat 4.1.29 will be upgraded to 5.5.36
