XOsoft Product Versions

DR = Date Replication

HA = High Availability (Automated Switchover)

1 - MSCS Clusters are also supported

2 - MNS, SCR & CCR not supported

3 - Swtichover or High Availability (HA) is not supported on Small Business Server. (Replication Only)

4 - CA XOsoft (DR) for Exchange 2007 no longer requires the ws_ex2ex.exe utility for failover/failback. The failover and failback processes can now be manually performed using standard Exchange 2007 PowerShell commands.Ws_ex2ex.exe is still supported for Exchange 2000 & 2003. Ws_ex2ex.exe is also supported on Exchange 2007 standalone and Exchange 2007 SCC clusters. For failover and failback features with Exchange 2007 XOsoftHA is recommended to reduce complexity and provide a faster and automated failover process. Exchange2007 SP1 Rollup9 and Exchange2007 SP2 are supported.

5 - Exchange 5.5 is not supported

6 - SQL 7 is not supported

7 - Virtualization Support for Guest Environment Only

8 - Automatic rewind checkpoints are not fully supported for Oracle; instead manual bookmarks can be inserted via the XOsoft Manager or XOsoft PowerShell.

9 - Assured Recovery (AR) on replication (DR) and HA is not available for this application.

10 - BES support is based on script which is shipped with the product.

11 - XOsoft support BITLOCKER on windows server 2008.

12 - XOsoft support Guest OS on Citrix Xen, but the Guest OS needs Real Machine license, there is a hotfix in XOsoft 12.5 to fix this problem, and the Guest only need VM license, the fix number is T5LE029.

13 - Automatic rewind checkpoints are not fully supported for Oracle; instead manuall bookmarks can be inserted via the XOsoft Manager of XOsoft Powershell.

14 - XOsoft12.5 SP2 is required for support windows 2008 R2.

15 - BES 5.0.0 is supported by XOsoft 12.5 SP2 on windows server 2003 x86 hot fix number is T5KD057.
