The database import and export mechanism fails for TSM data. The patch ensures that BrightStor SRM can properly import and export data in the BrightStor SRM database. 6.10 T460002 This corrects the problem of BrightStor SRM's inability to register long TSM computer names, inability to register long and fully qualified names, and the incorrect handling of the proxy collector. 6.11 T460003 Resolves the problem of handling the decimal delimiter of ',' in German instances of TSM. 6.12 T460001 This fix corrects the BOS agent/server using 100% of the CPU. 6.13 T354136 The 'Save Definition for Portal' option was removed. Now if problems occur during the collection, they do not terminate the RPC connection to the server. Linux-The unallocated space on physical disks was not calculated correctly. BrightStor SRM now takes into account the block size by subtracting used blocks from the total number of blocks on a disk. Solaris-The Volume Statistics (fscanner) failed on some Solaris machines because it could not find the GNU libraries. This is now corrected. P111005 09/21/04 This fix affects: Dispatcher-the cTree database looping issues are improved. BOS-a new process called BosCerberus was created. This executable monitors and controls BOS behavior. A new section in BOS.ini was also added to incorporate this new process. P111006 09/21/04 This fix impacts storage analysis. It resolves the problem when the redirect object ended before all of the communication threads had the chance to end, which led to instability. P111007 09/21/04 This fix impacts data collection. Allocated space, free space, and percentages for the Volume Group object on UNIX machines are now correct. P111008 09/26/04 This fix affects the Backup service. It corrects the log clean up. P111009 09/26/04 This impacts TSM. In the TSM Message Scanning Wizard the template TSM Event Classes now has the relationship WHERE ADSM_EVENT_CL BELONG_TO ADSM_SCHEDULE. Previously the compiler went through ADSM_NODE and ADSM_SERVER and the Query Result was multiplied by the number of Schedules that were defined for the TSM Server. P111010 10/10/04 This impacts TSM. This fix corrects the TSM 5.2 collection problem. P111011 10/10/04 This fix affects UNIX. It resolves the indirect collection problem. P111012 10/17/04 This fix affects Veritas data collection: The VNB_JOB and VNB_STORAGEUNIT_GROUP objects were added to advance query dialog. P111013 10/17/04 This fix impacts Disk Arrays. It corrects the data collection by changing the bin path name when upgrading from BrightStor SRM 6.3SP2. P111014 10/20/04 This fix affects Exchange 2000. It corrects the data collection problems encountered with folder names greater than 200 characters. P111015 10/24/04 This impacts UNIX Agents. It speeds up the data collection on HPUX. P111016 09/27/04 This affects Disk Arrays data collection. It enables collection from IBM Disk Arrays that use the new root/ibm namespace convention. P111017 01/2/05 This fix impacts: Configuration Wizard-it copies the installation package using the FileSystemObject instead of running Bat.file. Service Builder Wizard-the title of the iCanSP templates have been changed to Unicenter Service Management. Disk Arrays-the default port for EMC disk arrays using the CLI provider has changed to 5988. NetApp-the wizard does not register a computer for the second time if the computer was already registered by another wizard. Storage Analysis-In the VolumeStats.ini, the tlb extension moved from the Access bucket to Application bucket. P111018 01/2/05 This fix affects BOS: The reference count is now thread protected for the Resource wrapper. A local command option was added so the BOS can send commands without using TCP/IP on the local machine. The problem of BosCerberus exiting when the control service gets an error is now corrected. Using the Local command, the timing problem for daylight saving is corrected. Saves to the cTree database occur only when necessary. P111019 01/2/05 This impacts: File Group Service-the "Invalid Flag was Requested" problem is corrected. No error is displayed if scope of File Group Service is related to a file object. VDPXSRV-you can use the command line interface to kick off predefined services and procedures when passing multiple parameters. NSMS.exe-corrects the problem when NSMS.exe (Application Server) is corrupted, the default is returned and the Application Server launches. P111020 01/2/05 This fix impacts: Data Collection Frequency-you can now edit the timing objects for all root objects. Backup Service-the problem with the Save Copy of Backup Service was fixed. P111021 01/2/05 This fix affects TSM. For TSM usage, the check for defined on index is null is no longer available. P111022 01/2/05 This fix impacts UNIX: Now supports Oracle collection running on UNIX RAW partition. Support for NFS volumes mapped to the root directory on UNIX machines added. Corrected registration error where UNIX returned access denied. P111023 01/2/05 This impacts TSM: Clean up of client events objects from database after completing collection is fixed. Modified some fields of the ADSM_LIBRARY object. Improved the TSM Process completion recognition (in case of failure). Adjusted code to adopt changes made in TSM 5.2 in total client messages going to the TSM Activity Log to correctly calculate all session related values. BrightStor SRM now correctly parses the new TSM Activity Log. Fixed all TSM process collection issues. Fixed problem when TSM volumes that do not belong to any library. P111024 01/2/05 This fix impacts Microsoft Exchange data collection. The mailbox address is built using the account's alias. This corrects the problem of finding the exact domain name that the Microsoft Exchange server belongs to. There is now a built-in debug version. In order to get the low-level debug file (EXLL.DLL), you only need to add the following BOS.ini section on the machine that acts as Microsoft Exchange proxy collector: [EXCH] DebugFile="c:fullpathfilename.txt" If the mailbox attachment cannot be read, the collection will no longer fail. P111025 01/2/05 This affects SAN data collection. The field PHYS_DISK_FULL_NAME is case sensitive for UNIX and case insensitive for Windows. The SAN collection now treats this field as case insensitive for both operating systems. P111026 01/2/05 This fix impacts Disk Array collection. For RAID groups, zooms are now available from Logical Devices to RAID Groups and from RAID Groups to Logical Devices. The RAID Group allocated values are now correct. P111027 01/2/05 This fix affects email messages. Traces have been added to DBWIN to help solve issues of sending multiple emails at the same time. P111028 01/2/05 This affects the File Scanner: The FSDBI.ini problem involving extra ports that are used during the data collection on AIX machines has been addressed. There are improved error diagnostics. There is a new parameter no owner option when launching the fscanner. P111029 01/2/05 This impacts the log directory. The file Shm.log was added to the directory. This corrects the problem with the BrightStor SRM share on the Application Server being deleted when used with multiple Windows Clients. P111030 01/2/05 This fix impacts UNIX collection: Physical disks with size zero on AIX are no longer reported. There are now reports on raw volumes for AIX that support the run command through fixed port numbers. This enables them to pass through a firewall. The new config parameters are: RUNCMD_PORT1, RUNCMD_PORT2. Solaris collection works within a separate process. The Fscanner for HPUX 11.00 now runs the 10.20 version. Several collection errors in HPUX, AIX, and Solaris are corrected. P111031 01/25/05 This fix impacts the rsh.bat script. It was improved so that it does not issue a warning in some cases when used for RSH. P111032 01/25/05 This impacts data collection: Fixed the incorrect Volume Group data collection for UNIX machines. P111037 02/06/05 This fix impacts UNIX: There is a check for the existence of uudecode prior to file transfer and if missing tells the user to install GNU sharutils package. There are new adaptations for slow Unix machines. There are improved error messages for connection failures. The SSH login issue for Solaris is solved. The fix makes TERSE more robust for Telnet and SSH in all environments. Failed file transfers now receive a second chance to transfer more slowly. There is a new method for file transfer that makes it faster and more reliable. P111038 02/06/05 This impacts the Configuration Wizard. It fixes the problem with the domain name. Previously the wizard incorrectly added \ before the domain name. P111039 03/01/05 This affects the Microsoft Exchange collection: There is a fix for the attachment size and count. There is a fix for the Public Folders collection. When a secondary public store tree returns the error 404 in remote data collection, the result is an empty table. FileSize and PhysicalFileSize Filter only compare the Low 32 bits so there is problem when the FileSize of filter is over 4G.
