Subject: CA Business Intelligence 3.3 (BusinessObjects) Replacement

CA Technologies works continuously to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. After carefully evaluating the best interests of our customers and CA Technologies, we have officially replaced the reporting engine used in CA PPM. In order to facilitate this transition, CA PPM Product Management provides the following information.

Effective April 1, 2016, CA no longer distributes CABI 3.3 powered by BusinessObjects with any version of CA PPM. If you are a supported existing customer as of April 1, 2016 and utilizing CABI 3.3 with CA PPM, you are entitled to continue using CABI 3.3 until the End of Service of the CA PPM version that you are currently using with CABI 3.3. Please refer to the CA Business Intelligence for CA PPM End of Life Follow Up Announcement for important support information.

CA now distributes TIBCO® Jaspersoft as a replacement for CABI 3.3 with CA PPM. TIBCO® Jaspersoft is a market leader in providing powerful reporting and advanced analytics.

Affected customers should note CABI 3.3 images are no longer listed as part of the generally available CA product downloads on support.ca.com after March 31, 2016. Customers entitled to CABI 3.3 images after April 1, 2016 can contact CA Customer Care for download instructions. You can visit Customer Care online or fill out our web form.
