Subject: End of Service Announcement for CA AppLogic 2.9

CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In accordance with our CA Support Policy and Terms (https://support.ca.com), please consider this letter your minimum 12 months notification that we are discontinuing support for AppLogic releases 2.9 and prior beginning August 22, 2013. This will allow our development and support organizations to effectively focus its resources on and add value to our current and future product releases.

As a reminder CA Technologies support policy states we do not support beta releases beyond the beta program or in production environments.

At this time, we encourage you to plan for the migration to CA AppLogic 3.5 as soon as possible.

We highly encourage you to review the new CA AppLogic 3.5 release so that you can take full advantage of the latest new features and enhancements this release has to offer including:

For additional information on this new release, please login to http://support.ca.com and visit the CA AppLogic homepage. The release is currently GA (generally available) to all existing customers.

As CA Technologies would like to help make your migration to CA AppLogic 3.5 as straightforward and successful as possible, we are offering the following:

  • A no-charge software migration from older versions of AppLogic to CA AppLogic 3.5 for any customer with an active maintenance contract.

    • CA Technologies Services or reference Partners to assist with your migration. Contact your CA Account Manager for more details on these offerings.

  • CA Extended Support offering designed to extend support for CA Technologies software product versions or releases that have reached their End of Service Date.
