CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability (formerly CA XOsoft) r15

- Virtualization Support for Guest Environment Only
- Automatic rewind checkpoints are not fully supported for Oracle; instead manual bookmarks can be inserted via the CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability Manager or CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability PowerShell. Oracle 11g R2 is supported, but you must download a 32-bit client. Go to the Oracle website and search for "Separate 32-Bit Client Software for 64-Bit Ports" for more information.
- CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability (REP) for Exchange 2007 no longer requires the ws_ex2ex.exe utility for failover/failback. The failover and failback processes can now be manually performed using standard Exchange 2007 PowerShell commands.Ws_ex2ex.exe is still supported for Exchange 2000 & 2003. Ws_ex2ex.exe is also supported on Exchange 2007 standalone and Exchange 2007 SCC clusters. For failover and failback features with Exchange 2007 CA ARCserve RHA is recommended to reduce complexity and provide a faster and automated failover process.
- Assured Recovery (AR) on replication (REP) and HA is not available for this application.
- BES support is based on script which is shipped with the product.
- CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability support BITLOCKER on windows server 2008.
- CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability support Guest OS on Citrix XenServer 5.5/5.6.
- CA ARCserve Replication and High Availability supports replication, switchover, Data Rewind, and Assured Recovery both standalone and distributed farm configurations. SharePoint 2007 server farm support includes unified switchover of the entire farm over a wide area network.
