    • GWTSA needs to come with the base installation of GroupWise.

    • TSAFS /ENABLEGW=YES switch enabled backups are supported with the latest SMS providing this GroupWise backup feature.
    • To successfully backup and restore GroupWise database running on NW 6.5 SP5 server recommended to have TSA5UP18 patch is applied.

    • Supported Editions - Advanced, Enterprise, and Platinum Edition

    Note for VMware ESX, GSX Server and VMware Workstation, Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V:

    • VMware ESX, GSX Server and Workstation support with respect to Guest Operating system editions and Service Packs remains the same as VMware/Hyper-V supported OS Editions and Service Packs. However, CA ARCserve supported Physical OS edition always supersedes VMware/Hyper-V supported guest operating system.
    • All versions/editions of operating systems supported by VMware for VCB are supported by CA ARCserve Agent for VMware

    Note for CMO & VMware Agent:

    • Central Management Option (CMO) and VMware Agent compatibility is same as Base supported editions/service packs

    Note for MAC Agent:

    • To take advantage of CA ARCserve to backup MAC data on Intel Platform, customers are requested to have Intel MAC Agent installed from r12 SP1 DVD or download the patch RO02441.

    Legends used and their description:

    •    Supported at the base level of the operating system or application. For Linux platforms, also supported with subsequent updates in the same release level of the Linux distribution.
