Subject: Announcement of new Neustar v7 data format and download tool

On behalf of Broadcom Inc., we would like to inform you that Neustar is updating the geolocation and anonymizer data (Quova data) format. Beginning April 1st, 2022, the Neustar Quova data will be available in format v7, and the existing v6 format will no longer be updated. Symantec Advanced Authentication is updated to accept the latest Neustar Quova v7 data format.

To begin using the v7 data format, you must install the new download utility, available on the Symantec Support download center. The download utility is updated to support the Neustar v7 data format on Advanced Authentication v9.1 (9.1 CP1), 9.1 SP1, and 9.1 SP2. Versions of Advanced Authentication prior to 9.1 are EOS.

The existing Neustar download tool, which supports the Quova data v6 format, continues to work. However, Neustar will not update the data in v6 format after April 1st, 2022. No Neustar data updates will be provided in v6 format from April 1st, 2022.

You must be running Advanced Authentication 9.1 to take full advantage of the new features and enhancements, and to continue to receive regular Neustar Quova data updates. If you are not already running this version, we encourage you to plan your migration to Symantec Advanced Authentication 9.1 with the latest service pack as soon as possible.

For more information about the Neustar Quova v7 data files, see Understanding Geolocation and Anonymizer Data (Quova Data).
