EXTENSION: End-of-Life date has been moved from November 2, 2020 to December 7, 2020 to allow more time for customers and partners to complete their transitions.

If your SEP Cloud or SEP SBE subscription expires before December 7, 2020,  your product will remain active until then.

Symantec Enterprise Division is terminating the Symantec Endpoint Protection Cloud (SEP Cloud) and Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SEP SBE) services.

SEP Cloud and SEP SBE customers can transition from their current product to Symantec Endpoint Security Enterprise (SES Enterprise). Learn more about SES Enterprise.

On the End-of-life date:

  • Customers will not be able to access the SEP Cloud or SEP SBE cloud console, and the endpoints previously managed via SEP Cloud and SEP SBE will no longer be protected.
  • SEP Cloud and SEP SBE customers will not be able to log technical support cases. If you have already purchased or own your SES Enterprise entitlement, you may log a support case for your SES Enterprise product for any licensing or technical help.

Transitioning to SES Enterprise

While straight-forward, the transition process is not automated or forced. Customers need to perform the transition in 3 steps:

Step 1: Get a SES Enterprise entitlement

Step 2: Access the SES Enterprise cloud console to start the migration

Step 3: Migrate your endpoints to SES Enterprise
