Brocade Security Advisory ID

BSA-2024-2463

Component

OpenSSL

Summary

OpenSSL is vulnerable to a denial-of-service (DoS) issue due to how there is no restriction on RSA public key size, or the subsequent time spent processing such keys.

Applications that use the EVP_PKEY_public_check() function to check RSA public keys obtained from potentially untrusted sources can be subject to negative performance impacts during processing.
