The Linux kernel before 2.4.36-rc1 has a race condition. It was possible to bypass systrace policies by flooding the ptraced process with SIGCONT signals, which can can wake up a PTRACED process.

No Brocade Fiber Channel Products from Broadcom are currently known to be affected by this vulnerability.

Notes.

Brocade Manageability products are not vulnerable to CVE-2007-477. However, since the environment that runs the products is not under Brocade's control, Brocade recommends Customers to apply recommendation from the vendors.
