New features for Symantec Messaging Gateway 10.7.5-4 include:
- Actions based on Web Pulse URL categories are now available to customers via the SMG policy engine, providing greater efficacy and control of email filtering to our customers along with greater consistency with other Symantec security offerings
- KVM joins VMware and Hyper-V as a supported platform for deploying virtual SMG appliances
- Content filtering policies now support large number of additional file types
- Improvements have been made to logging via syslog and SNMP
- Security updates/CVE resolutions—see release notes for details
- Numerous minor enhancements to improve both the customer experience and improve the overall reliability, availability, and supportability of the Symantec Messaging Gateway
