Subject: General Availability Announcement for API Developer Portal 5.2.1
The Layer7 product group of Broadcom's IMS division is pleased to announce that the Layer7 API Developer Portal 5.2.1 is now available. This release provides key enhancements based on customer feedback and user experience improvements.
Congratulations to the team for reaching this important milestone and for continuing to deliver value to our customers.
Here are the highlights of the Layer7 API Developer Portal 5.2.1 release:
- API Key Secret Expiration - Provides the ability to require API Keys to have a fixed lifetime to force rotation of key secrets.
- Bulk rejection of unwanted registration requests - Allows more flexibility in dealing with unwanted registration requests and improves registration approval by allowing email, organization, and role to be modified by the admin while accepting the requests.
- UI: Application API Tab updates for save/publish consistency - The Applications assignment of APIs is greatly improved to provide easy access to existing assigned APIs and streamline the assignment process when workflow is enabled by allowing multiple requests to be created at the same time.
- Enabling custom integration hooks into App and API sync workflow - Application and API flows can be customized on the gateway in a manner that is retained during upgrades.
- Rate Limit and Quota (RL&Q) Support for Gateway-published APIs - RL&Q can now be controlled via the portal for gateway published APIs.
- PAPI - APIs, Plans, and Keys Sync Status - New Portal API endpoint to provide the status of entities synced between the Portal and Gateway.
