Subject: General Availability Announcement for Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.3 RU9 for Windows

Today, we are pleased to announce that Symantec Endpoint Protection 14.3 RU9 for Windows is now available. These updates are available to all Symantec customers who are using Symantec Endpoint Security (SES) Enterprise, Symantec Endpoint Security Complete, or Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP). Symantec Security Cloud customers can also benefit from the single Symantec Endpoint Protection client that enables web filtering and content analysis for web applications.
New features for 14.3 RU9 include:
Symantec Endpoint Protection Windows Agent
- Application Control Definitions now support customer driven Process exclusions
- Ability to send notification to user during the process of manually Quarantine a Device
- Customers can now manage the IPS Chrome/Edge Extension through third party management tools
- Greatly reduce the number of URLs the agent needs for cloud communication (cloud managed only)
Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager (SEPM)
- REST API - Improved REST APIs around device management to allow one REST API call to manage large number of devices
- Fix TLS hostname validation defects
- Enabled transmission of logs to a Syslog server using SSL
- Improved experience for hybrid customers leveraging cloud management solution
