Subject: General Availability Announcement for Symantec Advanced Authentication Service Pack 9.1.04

On behalf of Broadcom, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that Symantec Advanced Authentication Service Pack 9.1.04 is now available.

Symantec Advanced Authentication Service Pack 9.1.04 includes:

1. Support for User Hints API on Web Browsers
Advanced Authentication now parses the User Hints to obtain more accurate user device information, when these hints are available. This update is applicable to JavaScript implementations only, and is supported on the Google Chrome 98 and higher and Microsoft Edge 106 and higher browsers over HTTPS.

2. Support for AdoptOpenJDK 11 and Oracle JDK 11
This release adds support for AdoptOpenJDK 11 and Oracle JDK 11.

3. Support for domain name patterns in RADIUS server authentication
With this release, the Advanced Authentication RADIUS servers can accept usernames in the format domain\username or username@domain name.

4. Support for SSL port for SMTP services if using TLS communication
Customers can now use port 587 for SMTP services (email messages) when using TLS communication.

5. Updates to User Data Service (UDS) libraries
With this release, several older Axis libraries are no longer supported. If your applications use the SOAP-based UDS WSDL, you must upgrade to the latest Axis libraries. See product documentation for procedures on updating the USD WSDL.

6. Updated third-party libraries
Multiple third-party libraries are updated to address potential security vulnerabilities. Important security vulnerability fixed by upgrading SpringFramework has been done in this release. See Third-Party Software Acknowledgments in product documentation for a list of updated libraries.

7. Consolidated Issue Fixes
This release contains defect and vulnerability fixes found since the last release. For the complete list of fixed issues please refer to the documentation.
