Today, we are pleased to announce the general availability of Symantec Control Compliance Suite - Security Content Update (SCU) 2022-3.
The release packages are available for download from the Broadcom Support Download Center and also at BRCM (Symantec) Live Update Server.
Release Highlights:
- Added compliance assessment support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 servers
- Added support for Kerberos Authentication for the agentless data collection on Oracle 12c PDB and above
- Added requirement of the Oracle 19c client for the data collection on Oracle assets
- Added support for Encrypt-then-MAC (ETM) algorithms in the CCS SSH library
- Support is added for the following ETM MAC (Message Authentication Code) algorithms for a more secure SSH connection to assets

Revived support for Security Essentials for IBM AIX 7.2 standard: The support for Security Essentials for AIX 7.2 technical standard has been revived in this release to assess the security compliance posture of IBM AIX 7.2 host machines.
