Subject:  General Availability Announcement for Application Performance Management (APM) 10.8 SP1

Today, we are pleased to announce the General Availability of Application Performance Management (APM) 10.8 SP1.  

The expected End of Service (“EOS”) date for APM 10.8 SP1 is May 31, 2026.

This release includes improved security compliance, additional Workstation platform support and defect repairs. Highlights include:

• Removal of all Log4j libraries for the APM backend servers
• New Soap API for listing and retrieving historical metrics. This new API is based on the Spring WS framework and will replace the existing API which is expected to be deprecated in APM 10.8 SP2.  For detailed migration documentation, refer to this KB article 
• PLA (Portfolio Licensing Agreement) Telemetry reporting UI
• Upgrade of PostgreSQL to version 14.x. See Upgrade the PostgreSQL Database 
• Introscope Workstation for Windows 64bit support
• Introscope Workstation for Macintosh OSX with Java 11 support
