Subject: End of Service Date Change Announcement for ACF2 for z/OS Version 16.0
Broadcom is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. Please consider this email your written notification that we are adjusting the End of Service date previously announced for ACF2 for z/OS Version 16.0 to March 16, 2027. After March 16, 2027, Broadcom will continue to make self-service support available until the end of your current maintenance term for ACF2 for z/OS Version 16.0.
We encourage you to plan for the migration to ACF2 for z/OS Version 17.0 as soon as possible, so you can take full advantage of the features and enhancements this release has to offer. Prior to migrating to Version 17.0, we recommend you apply the latest maintenance that is available during the time of migrating to Version 17.0. This is available through the Support Portal. For information on ACF2 for z/OS, please visit the ACF2 for z/OS Support Portal page.

As Broadcom would like to make your upgrade to ACF2 for z/OS Version 17.0 as straightforward as possible, we are offering the following:
- Please review this Security Advisory for an important security update and required steps that you must complete prior to upgrading to ACF2 for z/OS Version 17.0.
- The latest supported Version of ACF2 for z/OS can be downloaded, at no charge, online within the Support Portal, where you can also utilize the case management system, as long as you have an active maintenance contract for ACF2 for z/OS.
- Documentation to help you prepare for your upgrade to Version 17.0 can be viewed here. If you have any questions or require assistance, contact Support.
- Accelerated time-to-value when you engage Broadcom Mainframe Services to assist you with any or all parts of your upgrade. Additional information can be found at the Services site. Please contact your account representative to receive a quote for such services.
