Today, we are pleased to announce that the License Hub 2.0 for VMware vDefend and Avi Load Balancer release is now available for all 'VMware vDefend' and "VMware Avi Load Balancer' customers.

What's New?

• License Hub for VMware® vDefend and Avi Load Balancer provides centralized license management and reporting for VMware vDefend and VMware Avi subscription license files.

License Hub 2.0 for VMware vDefend and Avi has the below key updates:

• Simplified Installation: Deploys as a single virtual appliance.
• Reduced Resource Prerequisites: Available in 6 VCPU / 12 GB RAM / 256 GB Disk.
• Backup and Restore of License Hub: Supports backup and restore of licenses, registered licensing endpoints, and license usage reports.
• Public APIs for License Hub: Provides License Hub APIs for automating license management tasks for vDefend and Avi.
• License Edition Support: Adds support for Not-for-Resale (NFR) license files for vDefend.
• License Endpoint Support: Adds support for onboarding Security Services Platform as a licensing endpoint to License Hub, for reporting usage of bare metal security cores and NDR sensor cores.
