Today, we are pleased to announce that Symantec IGA v15.0.1 is now available. 

New features for Symantec IGA v15.0.1 include: 

General Updates:

  • Platform Support Updates
     
    • IGA deployment is now supported on Rocky Linux 9.x and 10.x, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) 10

  • For enhanced security, all Windows-based installers (Credential Provider, Password Sync Agent, C++ Connector Server, Provisioning Manager, Connector Xpress 2.0, Client Tools, Windows NT Remote Agent) are now signed by a Certificate Authority.

    Identity Manager:

    • Passphrase Support for Mainframe Endpoints
      - Identity Manager now supports Passphrase for RACFv2, ACFv2, and Top Secret v2 endpoints, which strengthens mainframe endpoints with longer, more secure credentials. 
    • Kerberos Database Authentication
      - Identity Manager now supports passwordless, ticket-based Kerberos authentication for SQL Server database connections.
    • Configurable Retries for Policy Xpress
      - The Policy Xpress RESTful Web Service now features a retry mechanism that allows the service to retry failed connections if the target server is down. By default, the service attempts 3 retries at 1 second intervals unless custom values are specified. 
    • Custom Localization for User Console
      - Added custom localization support for the Identity Manager console.
    • Custom Locale for Reports
      - Identity Manager supports custom locales for reports. 
    • Autowire defaults to the Identity Manager's native failover when the Userstore Relay service on the Cluster tab is set to None in the IGA Xpress console.
    • Identity Manager supports custom logging. 
    • Addressed connection validation for import and export of directory configuration.
    • Library Updates

    Identity Governance:

    • New OOTB Live Reports:  Introduced support for three new OOTB live reports:
      • Certification Reassignments: Tracks task reassignments between reviewers during user certification campaigns.
      • Certification Results: Displays the final certification decision for each item assigned to each reviewer within a resource.
      • Pending Reviewers: Lists reviewers who have not yet completed their resource certification tasks, including their email address.
    • Custom Localization for the Console
      - Added custom localization support for the Identity Governance console. 
    • Custom Locale for Reports
      - Identity Governance supports custom locales for reports.
    • Kerberos Database Authentication
      - Identity Governance now supports passwordless, ticket-based Kerberos authentication for SQL Server database connections. 
    • Identity Governance supports custom logging. 
    • Library Updates

    Identity Portal:

    • Kerberos Database Authentication
      - Identity Portal now supports passwordless, ticket-based Kerberos authentication for SQL Server database connections.
    • Added localization support for reports.
    • Library Updates
      - Apache CXF 4.16, Apache Neethi 3.2.2, Commons IO 2.16.1, Commons Lang3, jQuery UI 1.14.2 (replaced jQuery UI Bundle), Log4j 2.25.4, OpenSAML 5.16, POI 5.4.1, Spring Framework 6.27, Spring ORM 6.27, Spring Security 6.5.11, SQL JDBC Driver 13.2.1-JRE11, Tika Core 3.2.3, Workpoint Client 4.60.14, XML Beans 5.3.0

          IGA Xpress 2.0:

          • IGA Xpress now removes the igx user constraint and allows a custom IGA system user to own the installation. 
          • The IGA Xpress installer can now be run as root without the use of sudo. 
          • You can now view and download Xpress and Service logs directly from the IGA Xpress Console Dashboard. 
          • The IGA system user can configure service logging information, which appears in the right pane of the IGA Xpress Console Dashboard when a service is clicked. 
          • The IGA Xpress server now only accepts TLSv1.3 and no longer supports TLSv1.2.
          • IGA Xpress now supports node-by-node upgrade for Service Packs. 
          • Library updates: OpenSSL 3.5.7, Python 3.14.6

          Connector Server:

          • The RSA SecurID connector has been enhanced to support RSA AM 8.9. Because RSA AM 8.9 is compatible with Java versions (JDK 17+), the connector can communicate with it directly without an RMI server. The connector remains fully backward-compatible with RSA AM versions prior to 8.9.
          • The OS400, PeopleSoft, and DB2 ZOS endpoints can now be created from Provisioning Manager.
          • Group ownership as igx group is no longer enforced.
          • Library Updates
            - Apache Axis2 1.8.2, Bouncy Castle FIPS 2.1.2, Commons FileUpload 1.6.0, Commons Lang3 3.20.0, JAX-WS 4.0.3, JCIFS 2.1.40, Log4j 2.25.4, SQL Server JDBC 12.10.2-JRE11, Spring Framework 5.3.48

              C++ Connector Server:

              The C++ Connector Server upgrade installer now preserves the following configuration:
              • Active Directory failover list
              • im_ccs.conf, etrust_admin.conf, cosxparse.ptt, etrust_cosx.schema
              • TLS certificates
              • AD exits
              • ACC folder

              Provisioning Server:

              • Logging configuration is now available for the Provisioning Server from the
                Services tab of the IGA Xpress console. 
              • Group ownership as igx group is no longer enforced.
              • Library Updates
                - Curl 8.20, libxml2 2.15, OpenSSL 3.5.7, Xerces-C 3.3.0, zlib 1.3.2

              Provisioning Tools Agent:

              • Added support for the Microsoft Windows Server (Windows NT) connector.
