Subject: Release Announcement for Layer7 API Gateway 11.1.4
The Layer7 product group of Broadcom's IMS division is pleased to announce that the Layer7 API Gateway 11.1.4 is now available.
Congratulations to the team for reaching this important milestone and for continuing to deliver value to our customers.
This release is primarily a maintenance release with minor fixes and security patches. However, it includes the following enhanced feature(s):
- Validation of MySQL Enterprise 8.4 with Group Replication
MySQL Enterprise 8.4 with Group Replication has been validated and added to the Gateway’s support matrix.
- Validation of Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.4
Percona XtraDB Cluster 8.4 has been validated and added to the Gateway’s support matrix.
- Validation of MS SQL Server 2022
MS SQL Server 2022 has been validated and added to the Gateway’s support matrix.
- AWS Custom Assertion
The AWS Solution Kit using the no longer supported AWS SDK v1.0 has been replaced with an AWS Custom Assertion that uses the AWS SDK v2.0.
- Graphman Client Enhancements
The following minor Graphman client enhancements were made to coincide with this release:

- Entity Mapping Merging
Entity mapping is preserved from each source bundle during the combine operation.

- Post Renew Operation Extension
Support has been added for a post renew operation extension.

- Selective Bundle Implodes
Users can now select specific entities to include in an imploded bundle by entity type or using a JSON package file.
Monthly Platform Patch
An early May monthly platform patch, announced here and found here, has been released together with the Layer7 API Gateway 11.1.4. It is recommended that appliance Gateway customers apply this monthly platform patch (or later) after upgrading to the Layer7 API Gateway 11.1.4 release.
Patch Management Service v2.1.0
A new version of the Patch Management Service has been released here. Gateway customers currently on a Layer7 API Gateway 11.1.x release must first upgrade their Patch Management Service to v2.1.0 before upgrading to Layer7 API Gateway 11.1.4 or applying the May monthly platform patch or later.
