Today, we are excited to announce the general availability of Rally Anywhere 1.6, released on May 1st, 2026. This release introduces a suite of powerful new features and enhancements designed to improve visibility, streamline your planning processes, and boost team efficiency through flexible configurations that accommodate how your teams work.

Enhanced Visibility and Reporting: Drive Informed Decisions with Deeper Insights

Leverage powerful new widgets for highly customized reports and dashboards.

• 2D Matrix Widget: Visualize counts of artifacts organized by two dimensions.
• Estimation Board Widget: A new tool for planning exercises that lets you assign plan estimates by dragging artifacts into relative size columns, helping teams visualize complexity distribution.
• Velocity/Throughput Widget: Track historical performance data through flexible "bucketing" options like Iterations or Releases, facilitating informed capacity planning.
• Endorsed Widgets:  Collection of custom HTML widgets developed by Rally to extend Custom View capabilities and serve as examples for your customization of HTML Widgets. 

Custom Views & Configuration Enhancements: 

• Custom View Flexibility and Control: Admins can now enforce consistent reporting across the organization by pinning shared custom views for all users and enable proper oversight with the Custom View Revision History page to track changes and collaboration.1
• Legacy Custom Pages page: This page is available to all users to view data about the custom pages they have access to edit in their subscription.
• Powerful Customization Tools: Utilize Relative Queries to compare attributes on related objects directly, streamlining analysis and eliminating the need for some custom applications. 
• Widget Developer role: Administrators can assign this role to users who want to create custom HTML widgets that can contain HTML, JavaScript, and other client-side scripting languages. 

Improved Planning and Management

• Team Planning Page Enhancements: We have improved usability with new summary views showing total planned velocity, points, and capacity percentages for releases and iterations.
• Deep Copy from Detail Editor: Duplicate Portfolio Items and User Stories along with all their child tasks, saving significant time.

Administration and Configuration Updates

• Flexible Dependency Coordination: Grant users with Viewer permissions the ability to manage dependencies, providing greater flexibility for seamless cross-project coordination without escalating permissions unnecessarily.
• Enhanced Governance and Consistency: Workspace and subscription admins can now override and lock field order/visibility for work items and portfolio items via Detail Editor Customization, enabling a consistent and governed user experience across the entire workspace.
• Streamlined Auditing: System Administrators can now audit data sent to Clarity using the new FCA Audit Log on the Timesheet Audit page, complete with an "Origin" field to identify data sources for robust compliance.
