Subject:  End of Life announcement for Layer7 Precision API Monitoring 

Broadcom is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In order to focus our development efforts and to help our customer base achieve their strategic business initiatives, we are investing our resources in new technology and software and will be discontinuing the development and support of Layer7 Precision API Monitoring.

In accordance with our Broadcom Maintenance Policy Handbook, please consider this email your written notification of this End of Life. This means that Layer7 Precision API Monitoring will no longer be sold, supported or renewed after July 31, 2027.  However, Broadcom will honor any existing written contractual requirements to provide sustaining engineering support on previously published service packs and fixes will continue to be available as part of self-service support for the duration of your remaining agreed-upon maintenance period.

We encourage customers to look at Layer7’s support for OpenTelemetry and DX Operational Observability’s (DXO2) support for OpenTelemetry as better industry standard alternatives to Layer7 Precision API Monitoring instead.
