Highlight features for Automic Automation V24.3.0 include:
Automic SaaS
SOC 2, Type 2 certification.
Java Runtime Environment for Java-based Agents
JRE packages are now available with option to include a JRE alongside the Agent when downloading a new agent deployment package via AWI or with Centralized Agent Upgrade (CAU).
New Agents
- New REST Agent: the successor of RA REST that is fully backward compatible and includes several enhancements such as built-in retry logic to reduce status polling overhead.
- Java-based AIX Agent which includes TLS, UTF-8, and secure email functionality like other Java-based OS agents.
New Product Support Lifecycle
Starting V24, Automic Automation has a full 5 year product support lifecycle that includes regular maintenance and security updates. Furthermore, the new product support lifecycle will provide transparency into release content (fixes vs enhancements) to enable customers to plan their upgrades with confidence.
Important information related to V24.3.0:
- A minor version is superseded by the subsequent minor version.
- Service packs are only released for the latest minor version.
