Today, we are pleased to announce that Web VPM 2.1.5.1 is now available, including the following changes:  

  • VPM packages are named Edge SWG (ProxySG) Visual Policy Manager in Symantec Management Center.
  • When you insert a rule in a layer, the VPM puts the new rule below the current rule. To make this behavior clearer, the menu option for inserting rules in a layer now says Insert Rule Below
  • When you search the VPM policy, the VPM displays only the matching search results. A new Filter Results checkbox allows you to enable or disable filtering the search results. If no layers or rules match the search, the VPM displays a message “No matches found”. 
  • You can now search for members of combined objects. In the search results, the rule that contains the object is highlighted. 
  • In the menu, operations that are invalid for disabled layers are now grayed out.
  • When you filter the All Objects dialog to display Unused objects, the VPM displays a spinner to indicate that the operation is in progress. 
  • For better readability, the VPM displays more layers on the page and the page text is darker. 
  • In combined objects, the Negate checkbox is more visible.
  • When you configure a layer that appears at the bottom of the page, the context-sensitive menu is no longer truncated.
