The Identity and Access Management product group of Broadcom’s IMS division is pleased to announce the November release of Symantec Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) 14.4 Cumulative Patch 2 (CP2).

We would like to extend our sincere thanks and congratulations to our engineering teams, support teams, field teams and program teams located all over the world, all of whom were involved in making this release a success!

Here are some enhancement highlights across the various components of the IGA solution, including Identity Manager, Identity Governance, Identity Portal and the Virtual Appliance:

  • Newly introduced delta certifications for governance now provide a change-driven, system-initiated continuous certification process that accelerates and improves the accuracy of access reviews by reducing certification fatigue and providing contextual information to reviewers.
  • Deployment for the Connector Xpress Framework now incorporates an end-to-end automated process which eliminates the need to restart the IM server, in addition to improving administration without manual steps.
  • Task tracking diagnostics are now available to help administrators by providing clear and thorough analysis across the stack to diagnose the current state of a given task throughout the provisioning lifecycle.
  • Numerous product components/integrations have been upgraded, including Symantec Directory as well as the IGA workflow engine, reporting tool and multiple connectors.
