Today, we are pleased to announce the availability of the Layer7 API Management SaaS 5.1. This new release offers key enhancements to the product set in multiple areas, as outlined below:

• Rate Limits and Quotas for API Management - streamlined management rate limiting & throughput quota capabilities across organizations and APIs, enabling preconfigured Rate Limits and Quotas to be reused during API publishing.  
• Enhanced Synchronization for Account Plans - improved reliability for account plan synchronization operations. 
• Retain Target Page After SAML SSO Authentication - instant redirection to target page upon authentication in API Portal using SAML SSO. 
• Improved Security in User Management for Email Updates - Portal administrators must now re-authenticate with password before changing email address.  
• Portal API (PAPI) Updates - new API endpoints and multiple improvements on existing endpoints.
• Miscellaneous library updates - addressing CVEs, including recent log4j vulnerabilities.
