Subject: General Availability Announcement for ConnectALL 4.0 Patch 4 (4.0.4)

On behalf of CA Technologies, A Broadcom Company, we appreciate your business and the opportunity to provide you with high-quality, innovative software and services. As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release patches for the supported version of ValueOps ConnectALL. Today, we are pleased to announce the general availability of ConnectALL 4.0 Patch 4 (4.0.4) for all customers. 

As posted in our “Customer-Reported Defect Resolution Policy,” patches address a specific set of critical issues that impact our customers and cannot technically wait to be delivered in the next release. Customers can obtain a full list of issues fixed as part of this patch by navigating to ConnectALL 4.0 Patch 4 (4.0.4) Readme documentation located in TechDocs.

We recommend that our customers always have the latest patch applied to their ConnectALL environments. SaaS customers always remain on our GA patch release per the patch schedule posted here for reference.

• IMPORTANT: Before this cumulative patch is applied, review the README information for any special instructions. The installation of this build will deploy cumulative fixes of any previously released builds for this version of ConnectALL.

On-premise customers can download the build from Broadcom product download. Please log in using the same credentials you use for Broadcom’s case management system. To install the patch, follow the installation procedures listed in TechDocs.

NOTE:

• Patches are intended to be timely fixes and are not fully regression or integration tested. They are only tested against the issues listed in the readme file. Broadcom feels confident that this patch will resolve the addressed problems, but customers should be aware that a patch could have adverse side effects on the function of their ConnectALL application. Customers should not apply patches directly to production systems without first verifying in a non-production environment.
