Subject: ITMS 8.6 End of Life / End of Service
Broadcom is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In accordance with our Broadcom Support Policy and Terms, please consider this letter your written notification that we are discontinuing support for Symantec IT Management Suite 8.6 as of June 1, 2026.
This includes all release updates to IT Management Suite 8.6 and all products within the IT Management Suite family, including Asset Management Suite, Client Management Suite, Server Management Suite, Deployment Solution, Inventory Solution, Patch Management Solution and Software Management Solution.
This will allow our engineering organization to more effectively focus its resources on, and add value to, future releases of Symantec IT Management Suite.
At this time, we encourage you to plan for the migration to Symantec IT Management Suite 8.8 as soon as possible, so you can take full advantage of the new features and enhancements it has to offer. For additional information on IT Management Suite 8.8, please see the release announcement.
If you have any questions regarding the support schedule for IT Management Suite, please contact your Broadcom Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, partner, or technical support.
Support contracts and subscriptions are not associated with a specific version of a product. If you anticipate requiring support for IT Management Suite 8.6 beyond June 1, 2026, please contact your Broadcom account manager or partner to discuss the possibility of purchasing extended support for IT Management Suite 8.6.
