Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)

The Broadcom Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) is our comprehensive methodology for developing secure software. It includes both required and recommended activities to help product teams create secure products and services, covering the entire development process from early planning to end of life.

Our SSDLC incorporates standard security practices, including Training, Architectural Risk Analysis (Threat Modeling), Code Analysis, Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, System and  Infrastructure Testing, and Vulnerability Response Activities.

Broadcom regularly updates its SSDLC methodology to reflect evolving security awareness and industry practices, increased knowledge, changing business requirements, and internal measurements of its effectiveness.
