Dear Broadcom Customer:

The purpose of this Advisory is to inform you of an upcoming infrastructure change that will impact products: CA Application Experience Analytics (AXA) SaaS, DX Application Performance Management (APM) SaaS, DX Operational Intelligence (OI) SaaS, DX SaaS.  Please read the information provided below and follow the instructions in order to avoid being impacted by this change.

We are pleased to announce the next phase of our continuous SaaS runtime optimization. The upcoming upgrade of our DX SaaS Infrastructure begins the weekend of July 2-3, 2022, and introduces increased reliability with minimum downtime for maintenance windows. This optimization requires mandatory network configuration updates to your firewall policies in order to avoid any network related disruptions. The IP addresses of new hardware must be allowed when the new hardware is activated. Both inbound (e.g. webhook) and outbound (e.g. agents, logs, alarms, RESTMon) communication are impacted. Failure to allow communication to the new IP addresses will result in the inability to ingest monitoring data and, given the nature of some monitoring technologies, could potentially impact the performance of the monitored system. 

Please work with your network administration team to ensure the following IP addresses are allowed for the respective datacenters you are currently utilizing.

US Datacenter (https://axa.dxi-na1.saas.broadcom.com)

Inbound: 34.145.151.0/24

Outbound: 34.96.90.96/28

EU Datacenter (https://axa.dxi-eu1.saas.broadcom.com)

Inbound:  34.141.238.0/24

Outbound: 34.117.194.112/28

 

The existing IP addresses should remain concurrently allowed until further notification that those addresses are no longer in use.
