Subject: Deprecation Announcement for support of CABI JasperReports

Broadcom is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. Per the Broadcom Support Policies, please consider this email your written notification of the deprecation of the CABI JasperReports platform previously provided with the product.

This means:

• We shall be discontinuing the package distribution, maintenance, and technical support for the CABI JasperReports platform for DX Unified Infrastructure Management (DX UIM) effective October 1, 2025.
• Effective from the release of DX UIM version 23.4 CU5, Broadcom shall offer an enhanced and modernized capability comprising a comprehensive suite of RESTful APIs. This provision enables customers to independently develop and manage their own reports, as well as to integrate with any chosen Business Intelligence tools which may be integrated over RESTful APIs.
• In conjunction with the aforementioned framework, DX UIM shall further augment its capabilities by incorporating UIM BI, as an enhanced dashboarding and reporting module. This enhancement will be designed to deliver pre-configured, out-of-the-box reports and facilitate the creation of ad hoc reports within DX UIM.

This will allow our development organization to more effectively focus its resources and add value across the DX UIM solution.
