• New! Faster and More Efficient Optimizer: Rebuilt from the ground up, the new optimizer provides up to 60% performance improvement while generating up to 20% smallest set of test cases for the same coverage.
  
  
• New! ARD Storage (beta - your feedback is welcome): v2.8 now offers a new centralized repository to store all your flows and test cases. The repository improves collaboration and sharing of content between different teams and enhances overall productivity.
  
  
  
  
• Improved! Automation Builder: Dynamic Configuration: Providing much more control to Automation users to define the format of their executable automation scripts, meaning the output from ARD is always generated in the format you need. Also providing support for more complex languages such as Gherkin.
  
  
  
  
• Improved! Enhanced welcome screen/experience: More inviting welcome screen, with easy to reach example files and import actions, allowing you to start working even faster.
  
  
  
  
• New! Enhanced Selenium Builder Integration: Leverage your existing CA Application Test Selenium Builder Tests to automatically create your ARD model and generate a more optimized set of test cases. Export your executable Selenium Builder Scripts back to CA Application Test to start executing them instantly. This helps CA Application Test users to identify weakness in existing test suites and improve coverage.
  
  
  
  
• New! ALM Requirements Traceability:  Connect your ARD models with your ALM Requirements. Have ARD generate ALM Test cases and also maintain and update their links to your ALM requirements. Allowing you to gain visibility into your requirements coverage from ALM with no test case maintenance.
