Today, we are pleased to announce that CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.2.2 capabilities are now available.

New Features for CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.2.2 include:

  • Calculation of Complex License Metrics for Software Requests: Complex license metrics are now also considered in the context of software requests to calculate the true license demand of the requested product.

  • Enhancements of Oracle DB and Oracle WebLogic Metric Engines: The Oracle DB metric engine now supports the Standard Edition Two. Also, processor pools for clusters are now supported. The Oracle WebLogic metric engine now supports processor pools for software/hardware partitions and clusters.

  • New Connectors: The following new standard connectors are available:

VMware AirWatch: This connector is based on a VMware PowerShell library and allows you to import devices and users as well as applications found on mobile devices into the application. 

Aspera License Control for SAP Software: The existing connectors to import consolidated licenses in use or LAW-report based data have been extended to allow the import of engine data.
