Cumulative Issues Resolved

Issues Resolved in This Patch:

CLRT-80730: Jaspersoft does not provide the capability to restrict the email notifications and job alerts to trusted email domains.

  • NOTE: As a result of this fix, administrators will get the ability to define the trusted email domains in CA PPM. This will restrict the reports notifications, and the job alerts delivery from Jaspersoft only to the email addresses belonging to the trusted email domains configured in CA PPM. In addition to this, CA PPM administrator can completely disable Jaspersoft reports notifications and the job alerts for a particular tenant.
  • NOTE: To get this fix on CA PPM 14.3, you must apply CA PPM 14.3.0.8 or higher patch.

Issues Resolved in Prior Patches:

CLRT-80373: Increase the Jaspersoft Reports maximum pages governor limit to 500 for non-scheduler (web facing) nodes in a cluster environment with dedicated scheduler nodes

  • NOTE: As a result of this fix, you can execute a report from UI up to 500 pages. Prior to this fix, the limit was of 250 pages. If you encounter following error while executing the report from Jaspersoft UI:
"Report '<Report Name>' exceeded the limit of 500 maximum pages"
This means you have hit the maximum limit of 500 pages. You can still execute this report as a scheduled report since scheduled report output can have up to 1000 pages.
  • ATTENTION: In a standalone Jaspersoft deployment (running only single instance of Jaspersoft Server), the maximum page limit is still 500 (either execute from UI or scheduled).

CLRT-80062: There's a lot of "Cannot get a connection, pool error Timeout waiting for idle object" error and server goes down
CLRT-80238: Jaspersoft Repository DB is missing indexes impacting general performance
CLRT-79768: Default maximum age of 60 days for Jaspersoft Access Events accumulating huge number of records in the JIACCESSEVENTS table impacting navigation performance.

  • NOTE: As a result of this fix, the generation of access events is disabled for improved performance. This also means 'Recently Viewed Items' section on the Advanced Reporting home page no longer displays any item.

CLRT-80139: PPM Jaspersoft Installation does not provide mechanism to isolate Jaspersoft server instance as Report Scheduler only instance

  • NOTE: As a result of this fix, you are allowed to make a particular Jaspersoft node, present in the clustered setup, either scheduler or non-scheduler. This will boost up the performance since all the report scheduling activities will be performed by dedicated scheduler instance.

CLRT-80166: XML External Entity Vulnerability - New Domain creation/update inside Advanced Reporting - via Upload Schema XML file functionality
CLRT-79680: Studio reports cannot be run in Jaspersoft Server if the report query starts with 'with' clause

  • NOTE: As a result of this fix, user is allowed to have read queries (select queries) start with "with" clause.

CLRT-79681: Jaspersoft 5.1.0 Installer specifies JAVA options of PermSize and MaxPermSize for Tomcat but these options are not supported by JDK 8 any more
CLRT-79601: Jaspersoft servers /version.htm is accessible to anonymous users
CLRT-79529: Scheduler Running Deleted Jobs
