As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that CA Identity Manager r12.6 SP5 is now available.

The following section describes the key new capabilities introduced in CA Identity Manager 12.6 SP5. For more details, please refer to the Release Notes.

New Features/Enhancements

  • Service Desk Integration for CA Identity Manager: CA Identity Manager together with CA NIM (Normalized Integration Management), can now create service desk tickets on a number of service desk products. In order to do that, customers need to define Policy Xpress in CA Identity Manager.
  • A new flat-file connector is now available. Customers can define an un-managed end-point in CA Identity Manager and provide users and group's information in a series of Comma Separated Values (CSV) formats, or by leveraging Pentaho Data Integration (PDI) transformation.
  • IM web UI now provides the ability to manage Active Directory users with custom Active Directory attributes. This functionality was previously available only from CA Provisioning Manager.
  • IM web UI now provides the ability to manage universal Active Directory groups. This functionality was previously available only from CA Provisioning Manager.
  • Each IM environment now can be associated with its own admin email address.
  • IM connector to ACF2 now supports provisioning users to ACF2 XROLs.

New Web Services (SaaS) End-points via CA API Gateway:

  • New connector to BOX
  • New connector to Google Apps

  • Windows 2012 CR2 as an operating system
  • Solaris 11 as an operating system
  • RedHat Enterprise Linux 7.x as an operating system
  • Jboss 6.3 EAP as an application server
  • SQL 2012 SP2 as a user store and object store
  • CA Directory 12.0 SP14 as a repository
  • RSA 8.x as an end-point
  • Lotus Notes Domino 9.x as an end-point
  • Oracle eBusiness 12.2.x as an end-point
