1.0 Introduction

You may download the latest CA Software Change Manager plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 and 2005. This enhanced plug-in is an upgrade to the existing CA Software Change Manager plug-in for Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 and adds support for Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 in CA Software Change Manager r7.

1.1 Download Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003/2005 (Combined) Update

The updated Download Microsoft Visual Studio .NET 2003 plug-in can be downloaded from:

• Harvest_R7_PATCH_002_WIN.exe (30.3 MB)

1.2 Installing the Plug-in

1. In Windows, click the Start menu button.
2. Click the Run command from the Start Menu.
3. In the Run dialog, click the Browse button and browse to the location where you downloaded VCIPatch1.exe.
4. Click the Run button.
5. Follow the instructions in the Installation Wizard to install the updated VCI Plug-in.
6. After the installation, you should review the updated Visual Studio .NET information in the Harvest Version Control Interface User Guide. This document is located in the %HARVESTHOME%Docs folder.
