Subject:         PostgreSQL Support Deprecation in Layer7 API Developer Portal 

CA Technologies, a Broadcom Company, is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In accordance with our CA Support Policy and Terms (https://casupport.broadcom.com/), please consider this email your written notification that we are announcing the deprecation of PostgreSQL support as the internal database for Layer7 API Developer Portal. This is only applicable if you are currently running API Portal on Docker Swarm. Future API Portal versions released after 5.0 will not include a PostgreSQL database.

In order to help you migrate away from PostgreSQL, we are providing a migration utility to help you migrate your Portal data over to use MySQL as an external database. The following migration paths are supported:

• API Developer Portal 4.5 
• API Developer Portal 5.0
