Today, we are pleased to announce that CA ITAM – Software Asset Manager 4.6.0 is now available. 

 

New features for CA ITAM – Software Asset Manager 4.6.0 include: 

  • Management of Active User Sessions – Active user sessions can be managed now. Sessions can be canceled, e.g. to log out all users before starting an application update.
  • Classification of Licenses – The new table “License Classes” allows the classification of articles. Classes like “Full version”, “Update”, “Upgrade” or “Add-on” offer a better overview.
  • Grouped view for Expenditures – A new grouped view of expenditures offers more transparency and allows for eased evaluation of the expenditures.
  • Automated Catalog Update – The “Service Exchange” interface now allows the possibility to regularly perform an automated catalog update.
  • Further Changes
    • It is now easier to select products in forms. The hierarchical selection has been replaced by a table selection that offers all product properties.
    • In addition to the support of German, English, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, and Hungarian, the Russian language is now supported. The multilingual user interface can be licensed separately.
