Subject: General Availability Announcement for CA ITAM – Software Asset Manager 4.5.0

As part of our ongoing commitment to customer success, we regularly release updated versions of our products. Today, we are pleased to announce that CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.5.0 is now available.
New features for CA ITAM - Software Asset Manager 4.5.0 include:
· Extension of Enterprise Application Management: New count columns allow for a better overview of related licenses and contracts. New lifecycle status and classification tables offer a possibility to filter the services. Relations between services can be defined.
· New REST API: The new REST API offers read and write access to lots of the application's tables. Extensive filtering possibilities are available. Authentication is possible with credentials of interface users, either via Basic Authentication or via JSON Web Token (JWT).
· Further Changes:
The date filter functions in table views have been extended: In addition to the today() function, the new month() and year() functions allow to filter for months and years in ISO 8601 date formats (first 7 or 4 characters).
· Platform Support:
Not Supported - PHP 7.1, Oracle Java 1.8, OpenJDK 1.8, and Internet Explorer 11 are not supported anymore as of this release. Oracle 11, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 & 2008 R2, MariaDB
10.0 & 10.1, and MySQL 5.6 & 5.7 are not supported anymore as the basis of the application.
