CA Technologies, a Broadcom Company (“CA”), is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. In accordance with the End of Service / End of Life Policy within the Broadcom Software Maintenance Policy Handbook, please consider this email your written notification that we are discontinuing sales for the following Unified Infrastructure Management probe SKUs effective September 30, 2020:

  • CNMAPP990 - CA Unified Infrastructure Mgmt SAP Pack - On Prem
  • NMSVA0990 - Nimsoft Monitoring Solution for enterprise vblock monitoring application- 0
  • NMSVA1990 - Nimsoft Monitoring Solution for enterprise vblock monitoring application- 1

The official date for End of Service and End of Life will be April 30, 2021.

At this time, we encourage you to adopt the latest version of UIM and convert licenses to DX Infrastructure Manager (DXIMGR990), which will entitle you to:

  • UIM core infrastructure and all probe packs, except those for zSystems and ecoMeter
  • All extensions available with the Infrastructure Agent, also known as APM Infrastructure Agent, including Universal Monitoring Agent for containerized infrastructure monitoring
  • Essential set of capabilities from DX Operational Intelligence as follows:
    • Service Analytics (for services created with devices monitored by DX Infrastructure Manager), Performance Analytics, Alarm Analytics and DX Dashboards
    • 1 Automic® Automation Engine instance and 5 Automic Technology Nodes for Automic on-prem
