Subject: End of Life Announcement for CA eHealth

CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. To focus our development efforts and to help our customer base achieve their strategic business initiatives, we are investing our resources in new technology and software and will be discontinuing technical support on CA eHealth, which was also part of the CA Infrastructure Management 1.0 and CA Infrastructure Performance 1.0 composite solutions.

CA eHealth was introduced in the mid-1990s and progressively developed until 2012 when CA launched CA Performance Management as its next-gen solution for analyzing and optimizing network experience. The main CA eHealth capabilities are now part of CA Performance Management; key integrations with the SystemEDGE systems management technology are also available with CA Unified Infrastructure Management.

CA Performance Management also addresses five of the most common requests for contemporary network operations:

  • SDN-Ready
    • Network virtualization is growing across data center and WAN and organizations require end-to-end view across both physical and virtual network architectures
  • Big Data Architecture
    • Fast and efficient data collection, dashboarding reporting as well as native multi-tenancy and SNMPv3 support
  • Prescriptive Analytics
    • Rich diagnostics, real-time analysis, sophisticated baselining
  • Innovative Visualizations
    • Fully web based and out-of-the-box heat charts and score cards; easy to create custom dashboards
  • Open and Extensible Architecture
    • Open API enables bidirectional integrations and third-party applications

For information on CA Performance Management, please visit CA Support Online for the CA Performance Management product pages and documentation; additional information is available in the CA Performance Management user community and details of CA the eHealth transition to CA Performance Management are posted here.

At this time, we encourage you to plan for a migration of your licenses to the latest version of CA Performance Management as soon as possible, so you can take full advantage of the features and enhancements this solution has to offer.
