Subject: CA Identity Suite 12.6.x End Of Service (EOS) outlook notification

CA Technologies is continually working to improve our software and services to best meet the needs of our customers. With the recent availability of the CA Identity Suite 14.1 and in order to continue to focus our efforts to help our customers achieve their strategic business initiatives we are announcing a gradual schedule for End Of Service (EOS) for the CA Identity Suite 12.6.x. This announcement includes the following products:

  1. CA Identity Manager 12.6.x
  2. CA Identity Governance 12.6.x
  3. CA Identity Portal 1.6.x.

The 12.6.x product family was released over multiple service packs across multiple years. This announcement provides an outlook for the EOS plans for all service packs. The plan takes into account the different release dates of each service pack and ensures there is at least 3 years mainstream support window for each release. The plan also tries to manage the notification window such that older service packs will have 12 months EOS notification window, while more recent service packs will have extended notification window of 18 months or more.

For each release, once the End of Support date is reached customers can contract with CA for Extended Support for another 12 months. Extended Support will be discontinued at the end of this 12 months period. Specific terms of Extended Support contracts are available from CA Support.
